Business Administration Apprentice – 16 hours per week
I am now looking for someone to join our small team based at Stukeley Meadows Industrial Estate as a Business Administration Apprentice.
The role is part time at 16 hours per week and there can be some flexibility with these hours. The role must work on Fridays 9am to 5pm but other hours throughout the week can be agreed.
The role is primarily focused on handling inbound calls on behalf of our clients at www.thecallansweringservice.co.uk.
Our types of clients are mostly accountants, IT companies, professional contractors or consultants or small businesses who require call handling assistance. It is important to represent our clients professionally all times. Therefore, good communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
In addition to handling inbound calls, The Business Administration Apprentice will also support The Maxxy Telemarketing team by undertaking other sales and marketing or customer support activity. This will include making outbound telephone calls and communicating via email.
Previous telephone experience is not essential but is preferrable.
This position is based on 16 hours per week but additional hours may be offered depending on business requirements and individual circumstances.
The apprenticeship will be in conjunction with Cambridge Regional College and learning is based in the workplace alongside day to day work. It is expected that this role will lead to an NVQ in Business Administration. Depending on grades obtained at GCSE level the Apprentice may be required to undertake further studies in English, Maths and IT as functional skills in addition to their NVQ portfolio for Business Administration.
Salary is in line with the National Minimum Wage for Apprentices and there is a bonus scheme linked to work place objectives.
